CONOR 8000TR TOPPER

The CONOR 8000 Trailed Topper is completely offset when in the topping position and rides independently of the tractor allowing a clean cut of uneven pasture.
A hydraulic cylinder moves the topper from the transporting position to the cutting position making the topper completely offset. The topper can be powered by relatively low powered
tractors. The direct drive mechanism guarantees consistent performance
while the rotors interlock to ensure a clean, positive cut.
The 8000TR has heavy duty rotors with a swinging blade
system which allows the topper to withstand the excessive
pressure of wet conditions. The cutting height is adjusted by setting up the position of the
axle cylinder and then adjusting the drawbar until the topper is
level at the required height. Guards are fitted to provide maximum safety while the skids
on either side prevent the topper from grounding when working on uneven terrain. The trailled topper is not designed to run on the skids provided. A Wide Angle PTO is available as an optional extra.

The CONOR 8000TR Trailed Topper is multi-purpose, while designed for agricultural use it may also be used for topping sports fields or other local authority areas. It will also successfully top in wet conditions and is very effective when used for topping rushes.
